Education: M.S. (1998) and Ph.D. (2001), Electrical Engineering, University of California at San Diego, B.E. (Electronic), University College Dublin, Ireland (1994).
Teaching Interests: Digital Logic, VHDL, Signal Processing, Communications and Computer Networking.
Research Interests: Speech and image processing, biological signal processing and bioinformatics, computer networking, wireless communications.
Work experience: Senior design engineer at Nokia Mobile Phones, San Diego, 2002-2004.
Other Interests: Active in the Schenectady Chapter of the IEEE, travel, cinema, hiking and golf
